But Balakumar has put everything behind is ready for his second film. This time also Balakumar is going with a lot new faces in the acting department. Talks are on with Kalpathi Aghoram for producing the film. Sources say Michael, an assistant of P C Sriram will be the cinematographer and Thaman will score the music.
March 11 releases Mathiyosi, Azhagana Ponnuthan and Yathumagi

Tamil movies are aplenty this month and especially tomorrow where the audience will see three releases.
Nanda Periyasam’s ‘Mathiyosi’, ‘Azhagana Ponnuthan’ by Thiru and ‘Yathumagi’ by Balakumar release this Friday, that’s tomorrow. Incidentally all the movies have new comers except for ‘Yathumagi’ that has the beautiful Sunaina as the heroine.
‘Azhagana Ponnuthan’ and ‘Yathumagi’ are directed by new comers Thiru and Balakumar respectively. Balakumar who is an assistant of K.Bhagyaraj, is reportedly working on another project even before his first movie is releasing. His next project would be ‘Seetharaman’.
Nanda Periyasami is making a come back after ‘Oru Kallooriyin Kadhai’ that had Arya and Sonia Agarwal, unfortunately the movie was unnoticed. He would hope to revive his career with ‘Mathiyosi’ with new comers.
It’s an interesting tale of four vagrants from a rustic village in Madurai, Onaan, Manga, Mari and Pandi who start their crook business from stealing a hen and then escape to the city to be happy until a girl comes into their lives changes all their plans. The newcomers in the film are Harish, Alex, Gopal and Vishak as heroes and Shammu is in the female lead.
People in the trade are hoping that these youthful stories will strike a chord with the viewers and help to continue the upward swing in Kollywood. IndiaGlitz wishes all the producers, directors and actors part of these projects the very best!
Sunaina acts with Kalaignar’s grandson movie
Posted by Jeyamaran, Madurai, Tamilnadu in Flash News on February 8th, 2010

Two grandsons [Udhayanidhi Stalin and Dayanidhi Azhagiri] are raking in the moolah with their respective production houses, and the third has decided to take the plunge in front of the camera! Arulnidhi, son of M.K. Tamilarasu (Kalaignar Karunanidhi’s son), was an aspiring director. We hear that the 23 year old is a trained director and was aching to get his own movie going when someone in the family suggested he try his hand at acting first! So he will soon to grace the silver screen in a movie directed by Pandiaraj of Pasanga fame and produced by daddy dearest!
The movie will also star Sunaina, who is carefully picking her way through Tamil flicks. This promising lovely awaits the release of Yathumagi opposite Sachein and the completion of Thiruthani with Bharath. In Yathumagai we hear she plays a rather powerful role that gives her immense acting scope, while in Thiruthani, she has some trademark Perarasu style moments of humour! What genre will the movie with Arul come under? Given that the team is really hush-hush and wanting to keep their hero especially hidden, looks like it will be a long while before we know much about the movie! Shooting is likely to start next week. Maybe at the pooja we’ll find out more!
Sunaina’s miraculous escape

Sunaina made her debut as heroine in the film Kadhalil Vizhundhen. After this she acted in Maasilamani. Now she is acting in a film titled Yathumagi which has been produced BY Chozha Productions.
It was planned to shoot a song sequence in Bangkok. The hero Sachin, the heroine Sunaina, director Balakumar, cinematographer Muhammad Naseer, producer Chozha Ponnurangam along with his two daughters flew to Bangkok.
The song sequence with the line Yaro Yaro was to be shot in an island called No Man Island which is situated 30 kms away from Bangkok. The crew went to this island in three boats. The shooting also was taking place in the island.
The guides who had accompanied the crew had warned them not to shoot after 4 pm. But the crew was not bothered about the warning continued the shooting till 6 PM. After completing the shooting crew left in two boats. Hero Sachin, heroine Sunaina, director Balakumar and producer along with his two daughters boarded another boat after much delay. All of a sudden there was heavy rain.
The person who steered the boat did not know the way because of the heavy rain and poor visibility. Finally he was able to spot some lights on the shore, so he tried to reach the shores as fast as he can. But the over speed capsized the boat.
All the members in the boat were flung into the ocean. But since they were wearing life jackets, they were able to cling to capsized boats. Fortunately they were saved by a person who was passing that side in another boat. Sunaina says that she was saved because of the God’s grace.
