Kalaignar’s grandson Arulnidhi joins Sunaina

Kalaignar Karunanidhi’s grandsons are all set to make their mark in the entertainment industry. Two of his grandson’s Udhayanidhi Stalin and Dayanidhi Azhagiri are producers. Now Kalaignar’s grandson Arulnidhi is going to make his acting debut with the film Vamsam.
The movie is a village based story and he has been paired with Sunaina for the movie. The movie’s shooting is being carried out at a brisk phase in Pudhukottai and the film will be directed by Pandiraj who earlier directed Pasanga. The movie will be produced by M K Thamizharasu who is Arulnidhi’s father. Taj Noor who was an assistant to A.R Rahman will score the music for the film.
Sunaina’s expatation about Yadhumagi movie

Sunaina is blazing from all sides. The ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’ star is the newest lucky star on the Kollywood sky. So far all her films have been successful at the box office and she too is getting good reviews for her screen presence.
Sunaina is expecting her forth coming release ‘Yadhumagi’ will consolidate her place in Kollywood. She says she has played a role very close her real life character. The role is of a woman who cannot tolerate any injustice to her or her people. She also says after this film is released people would call her and Sachin another made for each other pair just as they called her and Nakul after ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’. ‘Yadhumagi’ is releasing this Friday.
Sunaina has her hands full at the moment. Kathirvel, Thiruthani are coming up. She has also signed the ‘Pasanga’ director Pandiraj’s next. Sunaina is out to prove her point.

Debut director Balakumaran’s yet to release forthcoming flick ‘Yathumaagi’ starring debutant Sachin and Sunaina in the lead roles is all set to hit the screens on March 5.
Chozha Creations has bought the release rights of the movie. James Vasanthan has composed the music of the film. All the songs in the movie have come out quite well.
Actress says that she is eagerly waiting for the release of the film and at the same time she is little bit scared how the audience are going to respond. Right now, she is busy with her upcoming movie ‘Pudhukottai’ being directed by Pandiraj with Arulnithi, Kalaignar Karunanidhi’s third grandson.
Sunaina enters Sandalwood

She is from Andhra Pradesh. And she established herself as an actress in Tamil Nadu. Now, it is destination Karnataka for Sunaina, who has bagged a plum offer in Kannada, popularly known as Sandalwood.
The ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’ girl will be seen opposite ‘Golden Star’ Ganesh in a yet-to-be titled Kananda film which will go on floors soon. “I found my role interesting and accepted the offer without any hesitation,” she says.
In the meantime, Sunaina is eagerly expecting the release of her Tamil film ‘Yadhumagi’ which will hit screens in a week’s time. “I play Annam, an innocent village girl, who falls for a city boy (played by debutant Sachin). The story speaks a lot about love in a gripping way,” she says.
On her forthcoming projects, Sunaina says, “I am currently acting in three films- ‘Thiruthani’ with Bharath, ‘Kadhirvel’ with Ajmal and a movie by ‘Pasanga’ fame Pandiraj which has Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s grandson Arulnidhi in the lead.”

Sunaina may be just 2 films old now, but is in the gang of industry’s hot picks. After playing Nakul’s love interest in the successful ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’ and ‘Masilamani’ the cute girl’s career graph is going on a fine lane.
After the girl got out of the controversy for her acting in ‘Madhan’ opposite Jai Akash, Sunaina got lucky enough by bagging ‘Yadhumagi’, ‘Thiruthani’ and ‘Kadhirvel’.
Actually it was Trisha who was invited to act in ‘Thiruthani’ opposite Bharath. Later it was passed on to Sunaina as Trisha was busy with her other projects. Birdies chirp that Sunaina was paid 16 lakhs for this project. More over the actress was offered a special caravan, spot pick-up, 3 star hotel stay, a special make-up man, personal hairdresser, personal assistant and many other extra comforts from the ‘Thiruthani’ team.
This shows that young heroines like Sunaina can fill-up the emptiness created by the actress like Trisha, Shriya, Genelia and Asin who have packed their baggage to North. We hear that Sunaina chooses her projects with the help of her mom and sees if the script gives importance to her character. The girl has also expressed her wish to pair-up with our Ilaya Thalapathy.
Nakul turns crooner

What will happen to the hundreds of new singers in Tamil films, if Kollywood heroes turn crooners?
The latest to join the bandwagon of actors turning singer is Nakul!
Every time it is the director of a film who discovers that their hero has a “golden voice”.
Remember Susi Ganeshan when he was making Kanthaswamy, made Vikram sing all the songs, because he found the actors voice suitable for the character he does in the film!
Similarly director Sakthivel who is doing Kandakottai noticed his hero Nakul humming away at Viveka’s (of Kanthaswamy fame) lyrics at the recording studio.
So the director decided that Nakul would sing the song Eppadiye ennul kathal vandadu…. , which will be picturised on the ‘singer’ and his heroine Sunaina (lady love?) in New Zealand
The story of Yaadhumagi

Sakthi Sangahavi and Mohan Sangahavi are producing a film titled Yaadhumagi under the banner Chozha Creations. New face Sachin is doing the lead role while Sunaina pairs with him.
Director Balakumar while speaking about this film said,” Usually in Tamil cinema the love would be said from the men point of view. But in this film the love would be said from the girl point of new. There are lot of new and innovative things in this film.
The heroine who comes from Kumbakonam to Chennai meets the hero. But both have opposite minds. The story is about their problems and love. Sunaina wears half saree in this film. But in song sequences she wears glamorous dresses and this is also connected to the story.
Producer Thamizhmani is donning the role as Sunaina’s father. The songs composed by James Vasanthan have become hits. The film is to be released on 20th of this month. This film will be a new experience to the audience.
Sunaina’s miraculous escape

Sunaina made her debut as heroine in the film Kadhalil Vizhundhen. After this she acted in Maasilamani. Now she is acting in a film titled Yathumagi which has been produced BY Chozha Productions.
It was planned to shoot a song sequence in Bangkok. The hero Sachin, the heroine Sunaina, director Balakumar, cinematographer Muhammad Naseer, producer Chozha Ponnurangam along with his two daughters flew to Bangkok.
The song sequence with the line Yaro Yaro was to be shot in an island called No Man Island which is situated 30 kms away from Bangkok. The crew went to this island in three boats. The shooting also was taking place in the island.
The guides who had accompanied the crew had warned them not to shoot after 4 pm. But the crew was not bothered about the warning continued the shooting till 6 PM. After completing the shooting crew left in two boats. Hero Sachin, heroine Sunaina, director Balakumar and producer along with his two daughters boarded another boat after much delay.All of a sudden there was heavy rain.
The person who steered the boat did not know the way because of the heavy rain and poor visibility. Finally he was able to spot some lights on the shore, so he tried to reach the shores as fast as he can. But the over speed capsized the boat.
All the members in the boat were flung into the ocean. But since they were wearing life jackets, they were able to cling to capsized boats. Fortunately they were saved by a person who was passing that side in another boat. Sunaina says that she was saved because of the God’s grace.
Perarasu speaks about Tirutani

Perarasu said that Tirutani is a social film with action formula. While speaking about this film, he said, “How can a man come up in life without selfishness?
A person cannot succeed with physical strength alone. He should also have mental strength. This is the theme of Tirutani. Gym master Bharath and Rajkiran are friends residing in the same colony. Bharath has been victimized by politician Ashish Vidhyarthi.
How Bharath settles the score with him is narrated in a commercial, action oriented sentiment way. Actress Sunaina has acted in a suspense role. Pandiarajan, M S Bhaskar and Chittibabu are also starring in this film. Many are asking me whether this is a God man story.
I had already made this God man story through the film Thiruvanamalai. I will not make one more God man story. The shooting of Tirutani took place in Chennai. Now the shooting will take place in Tirutani. Two songs are to be shot in New Zealand. I am planning to release this film on Pongal day.”
