Endhiran shooting is going to complete

The biggest movie of this year ‘Endhiran’ is moving as per schedule and will release this year. Shankar was shooting in Perungudi area in Chennai for the last two days to complete the final patch work. Rajinikanth and Danny Denzongpa participated.
This few days work created a flutter among the fans and made people wonder when it is said all is over for ‘Endhiran’ and why the shooting is still continuing. Queries poured into Shankar’s office the air war cleared by Shankar.
Shankar said the film is well over and will release within this year as planned and aid before. ‘Endhiran’ is the first direct production of Sun pictures.
Manisha Koirala’s wedding date is June 19th

Manisha Koirala is all set to marry Nepal-based businessman Samrat Dahal on June 19th, says sources. The actress is eagerly awaiting the release of her next film Ek Second Jo Zindagi Badal De, which is directed by Partho Gosh, on June 4th.
According to sources close to the actress, she would prefer to shuttle between India and Nepal after the wedding as she has homes in both the countries.
Manisha had acted in scores of Hindi films and was seen in a couple of Tamil films alongside popular heroes like Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Arjun and Arvind Swamy.
Rajinikanth’s wife admitted in Hospital

Rajinikanth’s wife and educationalist Latha has been hospitalized. Sources report that Latha Rajinikanth is a diabetic patient and has been suffering from high blood pressure. On complaining dizziness in the wee hours of Wednesday, Latha was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai where she is being treated for high BP. Her condition is said to be stable.

‘Sultan The Warrior’ is not going to be an out and out animated film as claimed earlier. Apparently to give a ‘complete Rajini film feel to the die-hard fans of the Superstar, director of the movie Soundarya Rajinikanth has planned some special scenes, in which the top actor would appear like how we saw him in all his earlier flicks.
Circles close to the Superstar’s daughter told IndiaGlitz that Rajini appears in more than one role in ‘Sultan The Warrior’ and one of them would be a non-animated character, with his typical mannerism and styles.
“Though this has been tried in Hollywood earlier, Soundarya is doing this for the first time in Tamil cinema. The character would surely thrill the audience. About 75 per cent of the shoot is complete and plans are on to release the film by the end of 2010. Soundarya has left no stone unturned in terms of making the movie, a landmark in the Superstar’s career,” they say.
On the film’s music, sources say, “A R Rahman has come out with an excellent work and Soundarya is stunned by it. Only the final mixing of songs is to be done. She feels Sultan the Warrior is going to be one of the best films of the Academy and Grammy winner.”
Aishwarya Rai’s upcomming Tamil movies

With two of the biggest releases this year in Tamil going to be Aishwarya Rai’s the year definitely looks belonging to her. And as both the films are directed by the biggest, hottest and the highest paid directors in Indian cinema Aishwarya’s stature assumes rare significance.
First is ‘Endhiran’ directed by Shankar With the one man industry Rajinikanth already ensuring the success Aishwarya Rai will also travel with him in this sci-fi film which is said to be made at the cost of Rs. 125 crores. ‘Endhiran’ is expected to make Aishwarya the biggest ever Tamil star in recent times. With Sun Pictures at the helm of affairs the promotional blitzkrieg will also be the largest ever in Tamil history.
The other big film is Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’. ‘Raavan’ is a modern day adaptation of Ramayana. Ash plays the role of Sita. Vikram plays Ram in Hindi and Ravanan in Tamil. Cheeyan says Ash’s role is the toughest in the film. So her dramatic talents will also be seen once again in Tamil.
With one film to the masses and the other to the classes Aishwarya will rock the year without doubts. More over both the films are bi-lingual in masters and multi-lingual when dubbed and that will increase the name and fame many folds for the most beautiful woman in the world,

Bad news for Endhiran fans

Endhiran which is a dream project of south Indian film director Shanker has a bad news for its fans. The movie releases is furthermore delayed and is postponed to October-November 2010.
Well, the delay in the project is bit disappointing news for all those who are eager to have a glimpse of it. But the good news is that the delay is worthy for the time as the reason is said to be addition of 3D affects.
After seeing the movie “Avatar”, Shanker desired to have his part of “Endhiran” follow the present 3D fashion. So, the entire production team of “Endhiran” is working on the dream and desire of Shanker and will re-work on 250 special affect mixing from now on.
The computer graphics- CG are almost complete and a portion of the film, which is the climax, has to be induced with some CG work. After canning a song, which is still in the recording stages, the entire film shoot will be winded off and then the post production work will resume in a couple of months again.
So, for this reason, the movie is said to take more 4 months time and is expected to be a grand Dasara 2010 release. AR Rahman has composed the music for this film, which features Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai in lead.

Rajinikanth’s punch dialogues are something that all his fans look forward to. And when a new film is announced with the Superstar in the lead, it gives enough speculation on what the punch dialogues would be like.
Well, in Endhiran Rajini will not have his usual punch dialogues, we hear. However, the star will mouth poetic verses or couplets, which have a strong political flavor, sources revealed.
Does it indicate that the Superstar is contemplating an entry to politics or is it a mere requirement to gel with the storyline?
Director Shankar is one happy man

Director Shankar is one happy man because he has brought the north and south poles of Kollywood – K Balachandar and Bahrathiraja – together for Rettaiszuhi, a film that is produced by his banner.
The director-producer says that while producing a film, there would definitely be a happy element involved in it. In Rettaisuzhi it was the coming together of ace directors K Balachandar and Bahrathiraja.
Shankar said that while observing K Balachandar during the shoots, he was thrilled to see traces of Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Prakash Raj in his acting.
Super star speaks about Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya

A special show of Vinnaithaandi Varuvayaa was arranged for Rajinikanth in Chennai. The actor, as like all others who have seen the movie, was full of praises. In fact, the superstar was so engrossed in the film that he thought the character, played by Ganesh as Kakka Kakka’s film cameraman was the real man that wielded the camera for that film.
Rajini expressed his desire to congratulate the cameraman when, to his amazement, Gautham Menon revealed that the real director of camera for Kakka Kakka was RD Rajasekar. Gautham is in cloud nine over the shower of accolades on his film.
FEFSI’s press release about Ajith and Rajinikanth

In a press release today, FEFSI announced that it’s dropping all protest plans against Ajith over his speech at the CM felicitation ceremony. Signed by VC Guhanathan, the press statement insists that the decision came after the CM’s request to the film fraternity to put down the opinion differences.
The statement also goes on to explain that the charges against Rajini and Ajith now stand cancelled and that the film fraternity will work together for the greater good.
