Like his earlier films Aayirathil Oruvan and Paiyaa, leading Tamil actor Karthi’s Naan Mahaan Alla will be soon dubbed in Telugu.
While talking about the film’s response, director Suseenthiran said: “I’ve visited several theatres in the last two weeks and found the audience clapping hard during the climax. Now, I’m planning to dub and release the movie in Telugu.” The director also said that he was pleasantly shocked to see the villains being applauded more than the hero during the climax fight scene.
“The last 20 minutes is the highlight and the fight sequence was praised by all. Many asked me where I found those scary-looking boys. Interestingly, I found three of the five boys loitering on a popular road in the city. While the fourth guy had earlier acted in Nanda, the fifth villain is Vijay Milton’s assistant. I was lucky to find people who suited the characters, right from the hero, Karthi, to all the villains,” he added.

Shomul. This is how Atharva, who made his debut in ‘Baana Kathadi’, is called by his family members. For those wondering the reason behind this unique name, it is coined from the names of the actor’s parents, Shoba and Murali.
Says Murali, “I am happy that Shomul has stepped into the industry at a right time and that too with a right film. Baana Kathadi has taken him to all sections of the audience. I am a proud father now”.
He adds: “My wish is that he should play different kind of roles that would bring out the actor in him. As a dutiful father, I will be always there to support him in all his endeavours. I also need the blessings and support of the audience”.
On his part, Atharva says, “Since I hail from a cinema family, acting has always been my passion. My inspiration is the great Kamal Hassan who gives nothing but the best to the characters he play. And my dad is my role model.”

It’s payback time for Jeeva. Like how Arya did a cameo in ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’, which had Jeeva in the lead role, ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’, starring the former as the protagonist, would have the latter making a guest appearance.
Interestingly, both the films are directed by Rajesh M, who shares a very good rapport with both the actors. “There are many more suspense in the movie, which I am not going to reveal now,” he says.
On roping in Arya for a role loaded with comedy, Rajesh says, “Right from ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’ days, I noticed a streak of humour in him. And I realised it on the sets of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’. This made me to cast him in ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’.”
Produced by Srinivasan of Vasan Visual Ventures, ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ will be released by The Show People, a company owned by Arya and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. It is to be noted that Rajesh’s next film would have Udhayanidhi as hero.

Shruthi Haasan is cute and bubbly. She is currently pairing with Surya in Ezham Arivu and in a film directed by the Bollywood sensible director Madhur Bandarkar.
She is also pairing with Siddarth in a Telugu film. When asked her whether she was confused in fixing her career because she debuted as music composer and then she became a play back singer and now a beautiful actress, she said,” I grew up in such a situation.
My father will not settle in a single thing. He will always try to do something different. He was a dancer then he became an actor. He started writing. He learnt camera and also started singing. He became a director. Even now he is in search of something and running towards it.
When I am with such a person how is it possible for me to keep quite. When it was decided that my career is in cinema I decided to compose music which I knew. Then I got a liking for acting. So I took up acting. My wish is that I should be a good entertainer.”

Sadha will be doing the role which Soundarya did in the Tamil version. Since her debut Kannada film titled Mohini did not do well at the box office, the Kannada film industry stayed away from her because she was unlucky.
She was away from Kannada film industry for the past four years. At this point of time she got the opportunity to act with Shiva Rajkumar in a Kannada film titled Milari. She used this opportunity and acted in it.
When she was thinking what would be her next after completing Puli Vesham, she got the opportunity in Mallikarjuna. This has given her happiness and is also expecting that more offers would knock her door.

Suriya replace Ajith in Thuppariyum Anand heroin Amy Jackson
Posted by Jeyamaran, Madurai, Tamilnadu in Flash News, Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar on September 3rd, 2010
Now that Ajith and Gautham Vasudev Menon have parted ways from doing a film together, it is said that the filmmaker would now make the movie with his favourite actor Suriya as the protagonist.
“Gautham likes to work with Suriya very much and he feels that the actor would suit to any kind of role. Hence his next choice for the project, which is a thriller, would obviously be Suriya”, say sources.
Tentatively titled ‘Thuppariyum Anand’, the film is set in pre-Independence era. “It is about a detective who zeroes in on culprits involved in sensitive cases in his own style”, sources in the know maintain.
One more interesting buzz about the project is that Gautham Menon has signed British Model Amy Jackson, who played the lead role in ‘Madrasapattinam’, for the heroine role. “His favourite cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is busy doing research for the film”, sources add.
Naan Mahaan Alla team gave very good performance
Posted by Jeyamaran, Madurai, Tamilnadu in Flash News on September 3rd, 2010
Naan Mahaan Alla is a blockbuster, no doubt. The film’s lead actor Karthi’s performance was well-appreciated by all those who have seen the movie. Also appreciated for their excellent performance were the five baddies. While one of them is an assistant to NMA’s director Sussendiran, the rest were chosen by the director by chance meeting.
It was interesting to note that these five young baddies, during climax fight sequence, caught the attention of the audience. This surely needs to be appreciated considering the fact that all these youngsters are debutantes
